This panda was inspired by the highlands of China; the name of the bear roughly translates to "Big Mountain Panda." According to the artist, "the mountains in China ... seem to thrust out of the mist to blend with the sky. The vistas are both awe-inspiring, and induce a sense of zen-like peace in those that view them. It was this emotion that I attempted to capture, and hopefully, inspire in others with the painting of this piece."
