This very colorful panda is adorned with Central American themes and images. The artist, who is of Mayan ancestry, designed the bear as an homage to her former homeland of El Salvador and claims her intention was to "depict the glory of ... indigenous cultures with their pyramid-temples that are still alive in our American Continent."
