Playing With Paint (and Nicki) Artist: Hunters Woods Elementary School for Arts and Science (photo by Rich) This panda was a collaborative effort by the 6th Grade students at the Hunters Woods school of Reston, Virginia. The name of the bear is an accurate description of the concept. According to the students involved in the project, "The basic idea of this sitting panda was for her to be a mischievous artist who got carried away and ended up playing with paint. Over the time that the panda bear resided in our school, she became the center of attention for students, staff and visitors who observed the progress on a daily basis.
