This semi-abstract panda was intended by the artist to be a means "to promote peace in this time of war." The meaning of the clock is a bit unclear, but as for other symbolism on the bear, according to the artist, "the pear on the upper right arm is the symbol for passion and the butterfly on his high thigh represents one of the creations from which man got the idea to fly. The panda is sitting on clouds and that make him an angelic being."
