This somewhat metaphysical panda represents, in an abstract way, what its name suggests -- the panda, as the dome of the sky, sits on a mis-shapen earth. According to the artist, "The daytime sunlight shines with vibrant, expansive rays of joyful sunlight. The nocturnal light radiates from the moon and the stars with rays of pearly-silvery light against a glossy black background."
