This is the sixth in a series of works by the artist whose common feature and central character is a girl wearing eyeglasses amid flowering daisies. A self-portrait of the artist appears peeking around the bear's left foreleg. Other paintings in this series have appeared at the Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
